An automation lets the CRM work on its own: you choose WHEN it triggers (a lead comes in, a proposal is accepted, an opportunity changes stage or a contact goes inactive for days) and WHAT happens next, as an ordered list of steps. You set them up under «Automations».
- 1Go to «Automations» and click «New automation».
- 2Choose the trigger and, if you want, refine it with conditions (source, campaign, tag, stage…). You can require ALL of them or just ANY.
- 3Add actions in order: assign/route an advisor, send an email (with a text editor and variables like {{cliente}} or {{asesor}}), create a task, add a tag or add a note.
- 4Interleave control steps: «Wait» X days or hours before continuing, and «Condition» (continue only if… if it isn't met, the automation ends for that contact).
- 5Save it and switch it on. In «Tracking» you see who has entered, who is waiting and at which step, and who has exited; you can cancel someone who's in progress.
Consejo: Start simple: «Lead comes in → assign an advisor → wait 1 day → if no reply, create a call task». Then refine it.
